My Final Step Toward the CIPS Designation
As a REALTOR® serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I believe real estate is no longer limited to one city, one state, or even one country. Today’s buyers, sellers, investors, and business owners are more connected than ever before. People move for opportunity, family, education, investment, and lifestyle. That is why I am continuing to grow my knowledge beyond the local market and into the global real estate space.
I am excited to share that I am currently completing my final course toward the Certified International Property Specialist, CIPS, designation.
This course focuses on international real estate markets and covers several important countries, including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.
Each country has its own real estate culture, investment environment, buyer behavior, business practices, and legal considerations. Learning about these markets helps me better understand how international clients think, what they value, and how to guide them with greater confidence.
For me, this journey is not just about earning a designation. It is about becoming a better advisor for clients who have global goals. Whether someone is moving to Texas from another country, investing in U.S. real estate, exploring commercial opportunities, or planning for long-term family wealth, having a global perspective allows me to serve them more effectively.
The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex continues to attract families, professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors from many parts of the world. As our market becomes more international, it is important for real estate professionals to understand different cultures, communication styles, financial expectations, and investment priorities.
My goal is simple: to combine strong local market knowledge with a broader international perspective.
